Our "Best of the Year" Titles

Did you already have a look at our Best Books of 2013?

Charlotte Dematons, Holland was one of The New York Times Best Illustrated Children's Books!

"chosen from among thousands of picture books on the basis of artistic merit'.

Janis Ian & Ingrid & Dieter Schubert, The Tiny Mouse was a Best Picture Book for Animal Lovers according to Kirkus:

"A thoroughgoing success from these trans-Atlantic collaborators.
A little whimsy, a little darkness, a little music for a song turned into a picture book by veteran singer/songwriter Ian."

Jesse Goossens & Marije Tolman, Jumping Penguins was the Best Picture Book in the category Miscellaneous, according to The Huffington Post:

"Surreal, whimsical, and sometimes morbid, Jumping Penguins delights in reminding us just how wonderfully weird (or weirdly wonderful) the world can be. For instance, who knew giraffes had no vocal cords and would be so bad at karaoke?"
